S A Sundaresan

Mr. Sundaresan has been an entrepreneur and a technology innovator, designing both products and processes. A mechanical engineer by education – UG at IIT Madras and PG at Stanford University, past experiences range from developing hermetic compressors, sheet metal engineering, plant and business digitalization, systems engineering, controls engineering, digital twin, embedded software development tools, and design of commercial electric vehicles. Involved in two start-ups – one wilted, the other grafted into a mega MNC. Currently as the Head – New Technologies at Ashok Leyland, he is responsible for identifying technologies of relevance to Ashok Leyland, and evolving the strategy for their absorption and implementation.
