Ganapathy Murugesh (Murugesh or Muru) is a serial entrepreneur that has launched several ventures over the last couple of decades. As a strategist and thought leader with a larger than life vision, Murugesh bootstrapped several startups that quickly blossomed into sustainable organizations.
A Structural Engineer by trade, Murugesh started his career as a bridge engineer after completing his Masters in Structural Engineering. As an expert in the field of segmental bridge engineering, Murugesh played a key role in the evolution of segmental bridges in California. Quite specifically, Murugesh led the design and construction of the New Benicia Martinez Bridge, one of the largest bridge projects in the history of California. As a renowned segmental bridge expert, Murugesh contributed to the Design and Construction of the New Oakland Bay Bridge (largest bridge project in the State). Murugesh has authored over two dozen technical publications in leading engineering journals and presented at International symposiums and conferences around the world. Murugesh was interviewed and his work was highlighted on a Discovery Channel “Extreme Engineering” series that highlighted the complex engineering involved in the New Benicia Martinez Bridge.
Murugesh championed several complex engineering programs that contributed significantly towards the environment and saved hundreds of millions in tax payer dollars.
Murugesh’s passion to entrepreneurship led him to bootstrap a successful information technology solution organization (Infinite Solutions). Murugesh’s love for the environment and social responsibility commitments resulted his founding of a Solar tracker company (InfinteERCAM) and a Energy conservation company (InfiniteENERGY). Murugesh played a key role in the acceptance of solar tracking technology during the nascent stages of the Indian Solar industry.
In addition to being an investor and continuing his entrepreneurial journey, Murugesh travels around the country with his kids nurturing their competitive tennis.
